This summary is a guide. The full terms of use below provide the details.
About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to commandmod.online and the COMMAND software distributed through it. The operator is COMMAND, based in Texas, USA ("COMMAND", "we", or "us"). You can contact us at the address below.
Downloading or using COMMAND is subject to these terms and any license supplied with the relevant release. If you do not agree, do not download or use the software. You must be legally able to agree to these terms, or use the software with the approval of a parent or legal guardian where required.
Your use of COMMAND
Subject to these terms and the license included with a release, you may download and run COMMAND for your own personal use on a compatible Windows device that you own or are authorized to use. No ownership of COMMAND, its branding, or third-party materials is transferred.
Do not misrepresent COMMAND as your own product, sell unauthorized copies, distribute altered copies as official releases, use the website unlawfully, or use the software to compromise other people’s devices, credentials, or services. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses. Nothing here limits rights that applicable law gives you.
Independent software & game rules
COMMAND is independently developed. Frontier Developments develops Elite Dangerous, and the game’s names, artwork, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Your game license and the publisher’s rules define permitted use, including restrictions on unauthorized modifications. The Elite Dangerous EULA provides those conditions. COMMAND’s own terms govern this separately developed application.
Build checks, Off-by-default controls, and restoration tools provide session control. Compatibility and gameplay outcomes depend on the current game build, ship, and feature combination. The publisher’s terms and services govern game-account access.
Beta releases & compatibility
COMMAND is beta software. Supported game versions, feature status, requirements, and current limitations are described on our Compatibility page and in the release notes. Experimental controls may behave differently between ships, scenes, or feature combinations.
A game update may require an updated COMMAND release. Do not bypass compatibility checks. Start features deliberately, keep recoverable copies of important local settings, and close COMMAND normally so it can restore its changes. Turning a feature Off does not reverse completed travel, scans, resource use, or other completed gameplay.
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue beta features or downloads. No release schedule, permanent availability, or support response time is promised. Any future paid offering will have its price and applicable purchase terms disclosed before payment; this website currently has no checkout.
Availability & warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, COMMAND and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not promise error-free operation, compatibility with every setup, or uninterrupted third-party services.
Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Statements about specific features should be read with the stated build, testing scope, and known limitations.
Responsibility & liability
You choose when and how to use the software and remain responsible for your device, settings, and compliance with applicable rules. To the extent the law permits, COMMAND is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental loss arising from use of or inability to use the website or software, including loss of data, profits, or game progress.
These limits do not apply where the law prohibits them, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any other non-excludable liability. Nothing here restricts mandatory statutory remedies or requires you to waive rights that cannot be waived.
Updates to these terms
We may revise these terms as COMMAND develops. The updated date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be noted on the website or alongside the affected release. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights you already have.
These terms are governed by applicable United States federal law and Texas law, except where mandatory laws in your place of residence give you protections that cannot be displaced. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent allowed by law.
