Who we are & what this covers
This notice explains how COMMAND, based in Texas, USA, handles information connected with commandmod.online, the current COMMAND application, and support enquiries. Contact details appear below.
This site has no customer account system, payment form, advertising network, or visitor-profiling integration. A minimal download counter records release demand as explained below.
Download statistics
When you use a download button, our Cloudflare endpoint records a generated event ID, the current release version, and a timestamp in Cloudflare D1. The counter does not read or store your IP address, browser details, email address, fingerprints, or a user identifier. It sets no cookie and does not link downloads to a person.
These records count download initiations, not unique visitors, completed downloads, or confirmed installations. Repeat requests can count again. If storage is temporarily unavailable, the download continues and an event may not be recorded. Authenticated development checks are excluded from visitor counts.
We use these non-identifying records to compare release demand over time. Statistics are available only through a private authenticated interface. We may retain or aggregate the records for release planning. This counter is separate from the ordinary network processing performed by our hosting provider.
Website visits & delivery
When the public website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare receives technical request data such as your IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, time of request, and connection or security information. This enables page delivery, abuse prevention, and service reliability.
We use delivery information only to operate and secure the site, investigate faults, and meet applicable legal obligations. Where a legal basis is required, this processing relies on our legitimate interests in delivering and protecting the service, or on a legal obligation where applicable. Cloudflare may process information in other countries under its applicable terms and safeguards. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for its handling and retention practices.
The website does not access your game process, Journal files, Frontier credentials, or local application settings. A download request does not give the website access to those files.
Local application information
COMMAND uses local game and session information to display context and operate supported controls. Preferences, recovery records, and diagnostic logs are stored in %LOCALAPPDATA%\EliteCommand. The current release does not automatically upload these records.
Troubleshooting exports are optional. They can contain installation paths, commander or vessel details, and technical session information. Review and redact an export before choosing to share it. Closing the app does not delete your preferences; local files remain under your control.
Information you send us
If you contact support, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, investigate the issue, maintain the conversation, and handle legal or rights requests. Our legitimate interests in providing support, or a legal obligation where relevant, are the basis for this use.
We do not ask for your game password, authentication codes, payment details, or full account credentials. Send only the information needed to explain the issue. Support is handled through the published contact channel; this site has no upload form.
Your choices & rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you. Contact us to make a request. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity and locate the relevant correspondence.
You may also have a right to raise a concern with your local privacy regulator. We do not require you to waive that right. COMMAND is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe such information has been sent.
