Extract the full ZIP outside your game folder. Keep the skins folder beside elite-command.exe, then launch the app and enter a ship session.

Update cleanly

Turn features Off and close COMMAND normally. Extract the next release into a separate folder. Your local preferences are retained; feature On states are not.

Confirm your supported game build and active ship session. If a control reports Error, use Settings → Troubleshooting and review the export before sharing it.
