COMMAND 0.9.1-rc.1 — Public beta release candidate

INSTALL & LAUNCH
1. Extract the entire COMMAND folder to a writable location outside the game.
2. Run elite-command.exe. No installation or separate C++ runtime is required.
3. In Settings, choose EliteDangerous64.exe if the game is not detected.
4. Enter a ship session. Available controls become ready automatically.
5. Set a value while its feature is Off, then turn it On. Turn it Off before
changing the value. All gameplay features start Off after an app restart.

Target: Elite Dangerous Odyssey, Windows x64, version 4.4.2.1 / build 334925.
Other executable builds are rejected. Windows 10/11 with Media Foundation is
required to run the app; a still image is used if video decoding fails.
Keep the skins folder beside the executable. No developer tools are needed.

USING COMMAND
Overview shortcuts use the same controls as Defense and Resources. Shield,
Hull and WEP shortcuts activate their zero-damage/drain setting. Unlimited
Ammunition preserves reserves with normal reloads; Unlimited magazine is the
separate no-reload control under Resources.

On means the requested operation was applied and checked. It does not certify
every ship, weapon, encounter or combination. Experimental scanning controls
may vary in gameplay; see KNOWN_ISSUES.txt for the tested scope.

Close COMMAND normally so it can restore its changes. Off does not undo damage,
spent items, completed scans or completed travel. If a control reports Error,
enable Settings > Troubleshooting, export a snapshot, and retry Off. Do not
assume an errored protection is active.

SETTINGS & SUPPORT
Preferences, recovery records and diagnostic logs are stored locally in
%LOCALAPPDATA%\EliteCommand. Existing preferences are preserved. Troubleshooting
is opt-in; its activity drawer and export controls are hidden by default.
Nothing is uploaded. Review diagnostic exports before sharing them; they can
contain installation paths and technical session details.

Theme, motion, window size, last page and parameter values persist. Feature On
states do not persist. Eclipse Hero is the default for a fresh configuration.
Read CHANGELOG.txt and KNOWN_ISSUES.txt before using this beta.
